About me

I purchased the domain getsteady.com on October 02 2007 and have been working on it ever since. It has been a long journey for me with many ups and downs. I've been trying to develop this site into something that is useful and unique. I have a lot of time, money and energy invested into it. So it is very very personal to me. My goal from the beginning has been to make GetSteady the best place to meet new people for friendship and dating. There are 100's of dating sites on the Internet and unfortunately most of them are crap, filled with fake, empty or stagnant profiles or people that really aren't serious or prepared for a relationship.

That is why I've mandated photo verification for every member who joins. Yes, it might be a pain in the ass to some but the benefits will lead to a site that is filled with real people who are serious about dating. Think of verification as a net, catching all the time wasters and game players. Let them have their fun on one of the other sites that allow anyone and everyone to sign up.

I am interested in quality. One thing I must stress is that you must be patient if you are a member. GetSteady is only spread by word of mouth so it's going to take some time to get more people on board. In the meantime it's free so you have nothing to worry about.

I wish I had millions of dollars to promote this place but I don't. I am just some broke dude with an idea for something better. Isn't that how good things get started anyway?

Who I want to GetSteady with

Many people have asked me how can I be the owner of a dating site and be single. Well for starters my cookie isn’t done baking yet but when it is I hope to meet him off this site.

I would love to be living in a large ocean front beach house. Laying in a hammock with my man while listening to the waves! Boy do I need a vacation!

My ideal relationship would be one that is nurtured out of love, truth, and productive communication. We should both learn from the bumps in the road. We would just try and keep things fun and respect that neither of us are ever going to be perfect but that together we make something that is pretty perfect.

A nice first date that ends with an innocent kiss that gives me a tingly sensation that goes up that back of my spine. You know from that kiss there are good things to come.
